Apple’s iPad has taken the portable computer industry by storm. It has become an inseparable part of today’s world even though the first product was released on April 3, 2010. The history of tablet computers dates much further back than that. In fact, the first patent for a similar device – Elisha Gray’s telautograph – was granted in 1888.
